Nahant Beach
Remington (mixed) & Tate (beige).

Happy Thanksgiving from Nahant, MA.

Dinner with Stefan and Remington. Great couple of days. Loved the sky at the sun was setting on the Nahant Beach. Even better was Remy running around with his new friend Tate. Hope everyone had a great holiday and remember I am a medium, 31waist/34inseam, and I live for electronic gadgets. Well, hello, both my birthday and Christmas are just a couple of weeks away. Be ready.

To Boston I will go...to give Thanks.

Bus to Boston in the Rain....40 min late.

Losing a Friend to the NorthWest....well, Portland anyway.

Chris, Mike S, & "Portland Bound" Rob Tuesday night was the going away get-together for my very good friend Rob S. People flowed in and out of Bongo to say their goodbyes, even though he doesn't leave until next week. NYC is losing a great guy. Portland is very lucky. Luckily I am already invited to visit and he doens't even have a place to live yet. And he knows I will be coming out. Watch out guys, he is coming your way. You should be so lucky.

Rain...Rain...Go Away......

Can I ask, for those of us in the NE, what is with this weather? No wonder everyone is getting sick. First a cold snap to make you want to take a vacation someone, anywhere but here. Then a great day when you think of getting those shorts back out; by the way, congrats to all who ran the NYC Marathon, couldn't have asked for a better day. Then back to cold again. Now comes the rain and, supposed threat of snow. Doesn't even feel like we had a good summer and now we go practically right into winter. Oh wait, we are into November aren't we? Well, being a West Coast person I don't think I have ever adapted to the East Coast fall/winter weather. I still refuse to get snow boots, I will layer up for the winter but I won't get that bulky jacket that will do the trick. Plus, I run at the first sight of snow. All the sudden I need a vacation or need to visit friends and family anywhere south or far west. So all of those who haven't seen me in about a ye

I Thought Ashcroft Leaving Was a Blessing

From my friend Tom in Boston: Want to opine on a bit of politics, how about the new attorney general: Alberto "Torture is Legal" Gonzales has been named to replace John "What Bill of Rights?" Ashcroft. Gonzales is the White House counsel who wrote the memos legally justifying torture during the "war on terror". His name is often mentioned as a possible Supreme Court nominee. Ashcroft said in his resignation letter, written before the election, that: "The objective of securing the safety of Americans from crime and terror has been achieved. " Well that's comforting but will probably come as a surprise to everyone including Dick "Gloom and Doom Awaits" Cheney, who was always saying "we're going to be hit again" before the election. Guess Ashcroft should've talked to him. The link

Quiet night...but stop the screeching.

After a rather typical day at work I went and got ready for a Tuesday night of KARAOKE . Scheduled for the usual spot of Pieces Bar on Christopher Street . I have to say being only about 10 blocks from the bar is fine, but walking in this Winter chill, yes, I said Winter, is just not for me. Anyway, went inside, passed the very cute doorman (who later did a nice number on stage) to see the people people I had been waiting to see. My very good friend Chris L. and his friend, Meredith, who was way cool but not in the mood to sing. Not a late night, but Chris did do a couple of songs...Hello? Did anyone but him see Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and actually get up and sing the song from it? I think not. But that is why I love him. But he did pull a good Alicia Keyes to end the night before we left. Was a good night to just be inside and do a little catching up with friends and also meet some new ones. Hey Trey and Crazy Jude.
